VIA Character Strengths

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Event Details

Unleash more of your potential by learning about your character strengths and how to use them. “A strength is a pre-existing capacity for a particular way of behaving, thinking, or feeling that is authentic and energizing to the user, and enables optimal functioning, development and performance.” – Alex Linley

The use of Character Strengths can have a positive impact on creating greater success for organizations by increasing the well-being of employees and allowing them to reach peak performance and thrive in their careers. When you discover and learn more about your Character Strengths it can help you handle stress, life challenges, become happier, and improve your relationships with others.

People who understand and use their strengths have more job satisfaction. One way to do this is by being more positive and optimistic. People who use an optimistic explanatory style are also associated with increased productivity and better job retention. People who have a growth mindset believe that they can get smarter, more intelligent, and more talented through putting in time and effort. In fact, our jobs can be a source of true happiness, deeper meaning, and intrinsic drive. Learn how to identify your character strengths, which will help lead to successful and more productive outcomes for you and your future or current organization.
