Veterans Oral History Interviews*

Are you interested in adding your story to our Veterans Oral History Project? Staff from the Local History and Genealogy Department are available to conduct veterans oral history interviews. 


Interviewees are required to fill out and return a pre-interview questionnaire and release form at least one week before their interview. The interviews are video recorded and a copy will be made available to the interviewee. Veterans are encouraged to bring medals, photographs, newspaper clippings, and other items related to their service to the interview.

Faces and Places Photograph Donation Drive

We are looking for photographs of Northern Kentucky veterans and service members, local military organizations and auxiliary groups to add to our historical photograph database Faces and Places

Hard copies or scanned copies of photographs may be donated. Call ahead and set up an appointment to have your originals scanned and returned.

Revolutionary War in a Trunk!

Mr. Baggett will bring an old wooden trunk full of interesting items and military equipment from the Revolutionary War period.  This presentation utilizes reproductions of 18th Century weaponry, camp tools and equipment, clothing, toys, personal hygiene items, and other everyday necessities. He will bring to life the reality of everyday living during the Revolutionary War / Colonial Period. A selection of his books will be available for sale and signing following the presentation.
